You’ll get a varied overview of this magical land as we travel from Katmandhu where we’ll stay in luxury accommodations while visiting UNESCO Heritage sites including Pashupatinath Temple, the biggest Hindu shrine, and Boudhanath, the largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal. We will then travel to Pokhara, the city of lakes and natural wonders. You’ll have the opportunity for boating and exploration before our trekking begins. After 9 days of trekking the route of the beautiful rhododendron forest of the Annapurna trail with local accommodations at Nepalese tea houses, we’ll return for optional spa treatments and integrating our experiences at some of the finest hotels in Pokhara and Katmandhu.

Sample Itinerary

Arrival in Katmandhu

You’ll be greeted at the airport by our welcoming committee and taken by private car to the hotel in Katmandhu. Rest and restore before a welcome dinner followed by an optional evening golden light meditation.

Sightseeing and World Heritage Sites

We’ll start our day with an active meditation before heading into a nourishing breakfast meal. After breakfast we’ll be transported to visit the UNESCO world heritage sites – Pashupatinath Temple (the biggest Hindu shrine), Boudhanath (largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal), Swayambhunath and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Coming back from the sightseeing, we will have dinner together and receive a briefing about the upcoming travels. In the evening we’ll practice Yoga Nidra together.

Pokhara

Before the 6 hour drive to Pokhara, we’ll come together for an active meditation and self-care practices. We’ll have a filling breakfast and get on the road. Once in Pokhara, you’ll have free time to explore the nature, get lunch, go boating or for walks around the town. We’ll regroup after dinner for an Intention Setting (Sankalpa) workshop, gearing ourselves up for the transformation and travels ahead.

Beginning the Trek

We will begin our day with a yoga flow before breakfast and a short drive to Nayapul fwhere we begin the trek. We will have 4-5 hours of trekking through the bank of the Bhurung Khola, seeing the ethnic communities throughout the terraced hill side. We’ll arrive with ample time for writing and reflection. We’ll conclude our evening with Yoga Nidra.

Trekking – 5 hours

We’ll begin o ur day with a light yoga flow and meditation at the tea house. We’ll pack our things to be ported to the next destination and enjoy breakfast together. We’ll go through the lush rhododendron and pine forest. Arriving in Ghorepani we will take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri Mountain. We’ll spend the night at a teahouse and do an optional writing workshop.

Trekking – Poon Hill – 7 hours

We will leave early for this big day ahead. One of the most powerful days of panoramic views in this trek including Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Himchuli, Fishtail and many more. Once we arrive at the teahouse accommodations, we will have a yin yoga practice to stretch and open the body after the trekking. In the evening we will practice Yoga Nidra

Trekking – 5 Hours

With a steep day ahead, we’ll start the day with a light meditation and breakfast. We will head towards the northern part and descend to the river. The trail will gradually leads to the striking village of Chhomrong. Arriving at the teahouse we will have ample relaxation and reflection time before dinner and Yoga Nidra. Optional group breathwork session.

Trekking- 5 Hours

Waking up the body with a light vinyasa flow and some yin yoga stretches before our breakfast and departure for a day of bridges, rivers and beauty in the rhododendron forest. We will do an evening meditation practice and open heart circle, inviting in the locals and fellow trekkers.

Trekking – 4 Hours

We will open our bodies with a yin flow practice before heading out for a day of discovery in the emerald and jaded bamboo forests. The Rhododendrons hail our journey to Deurali. We shall pass the Himalayan Hotel and trek on to Hinko, the trail lined with petrified trees and burnt sienna foliage. We will share dinner at the teahouse, with plenty of time for writing and connection before our Yoga Nidra practice.

Trekking – Annapurna Base Camp

Gearing up for 5 hours of trekking we’ll do a yin practice and active meditation before breakfast. We shall climb past the Machhapuchhre Base Camp to the Annapurna Base Camp. Here we bear witness to the elegance of the snowy mountains, isolated and standing eternal under the heavens. These monumental mountains are a sight to be taken in. We will join together here in meditation before arriving at our teahouse for restoration and reflection.

Trekking – 7 hours

Getting up early in the morning, we begin with a sunrise view over the mountains and meditation. Our morning practice will include a nature walk in silence, exploring the views of Annapurna South, Himchuli and Fishtail. After our day of trekking, we’ll reward ourselves with a juicy partner-stretching yin practice, dinner and Yoga Nidra.

Trekking & Hot Springs – 5 Hours

Beginning our day with a heart-opening Anahata yoga flow before breakfast, we then continue on trekking down to Jhinu Danda. We are rewarded here with a natural hot spring bath said to heal the body of ailments and impurities. We’ll have dinner together at our teahouse and do a Yoga Nidra practice before sleep.

Final Trek Day

We’ll wake early for our final day. Setting the day up with a yoga flow and meditation in the mountains. We’ll walk 6 hours to Nayapul. From Nayapul we drive back to Pokhara where we stay in a luxury hotel accommodation with available spa services. The evening is free to spend as you please, soaking in the experience and enjoying dinner at your leisure.

Return to Katmandhu

In our last morning practice together, we’ll have a special yoga flow followed by circle and sharing before the we drive back to Kathmandu. Take time to refresh at the hotel accommodations before an early dinner and celebration at a traditional Nepali restaurant hosted by Adventure Club. In the evening we’ll have our final Yoga Nidra practice and closure.

Who Is This Trip For?


Our Trekking & Transformation Retreat is designed for people with any level of yoga and adventure experience. We will take time to adjust to altitude and we will walk slow, but expect some trek days to be up to 6 hours of walking. It’s a good idea to start an exercise regimen a few weeks beforehand if you don’t have one already. Once you sign up for the trek, we’ll provide you with some training suggestions, but know that just your desire to trek will be the most important factor in your journey. And, if you’re not fit at the start, you will be by the end. Our goal in Nepal is to connect as deeply as possible to ourselves and to the breathtaking nature abound. This is not a “luxury yoga retreat,” but we’ve made sure the accommodations outside of the tea house trekking trail are some of the finest, to give you ample rejuvenation opportunity.
